Responsibilities
In this Payroll Analyst position located in Etobicoke, you will be responsible for the following:
Process and audit end-to-end Canadian payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation.
Actively participate in the payroll system transition project, including data migration, system configuration, and parallel testing.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new payroll processes and system workflows.
Provide subject matter expertise on Canadian tax, deductions, and labor standards to support system setup and validation.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot system issues prior to and immediately following go-live.
Train payroll staff on the new system and updated procedures to ensure a smooth operational handover.
Qualifications
In this Payroll Analyst position located in Etobicoke, we are looking for:
- PCP or PLP designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience processing payroll for Canadian employees is required.
- Multiprovince payroll processing experience is required.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is required.
- Experience participating in a system implementation project is required.
- Strong analytical mindset to investigate root cause of issues is required.
