Are you an experienced Paymaster looking for a key role in a unique and complex environment? A national organization responsible for managing payroll across 15 sites in Eastern Canada is seeking a professional to ensure compliance, accuracy, and coordination within a centralized multi-collective agreement payroll system.
Advantages

Hybrid model: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote
Vacation: 3 to 4 weeks based on experience

Responsibilities
Act as the right hand to the Payroll Director with a strategic role in the department :
Perform weekly payroll calculations in a fast-paced, multi-step cycle for assigned regions
Ensure accurate pay slips and compliance with 30 collective agreements across 15 sites
Prepare and issue T4s and manage year-end reconciliations
Handle wage garnishments and support payments
Collaborate with IT and accounting to ensure system efficiency
Serve as a reference for payroll compliance and provincial legislation
Qualifications
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management (end-to-end)
Bilingual in French and English (oral and written), approximately 50/50
Experience with collective agreements and unions, strong asset
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP/INP) designation, highly valued
Knowledge of SAP HR, appreciated asset
Strong analytical skills, rigor, and autonomy
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
