Responsibilities
Perform payroll entries for several legal entities
Carry out regular analyses of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Examine monthly variances from budget and provide explanations
Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets
Prepare year-end documentation for auditors
Record accounting entries related to various events, including inter-company recharges
Actively participate in the new ERP implementation project
Configure the general ledger (GL) structure in the human capital management system
Manage accounting records for property, plant and equipment
Design and produce various recurring reports according to business needs
Act as point of contact between departments and respond to ad hoc requests
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
Mastery of the complete payroll cycle
2 to 5 years' relevant experience in accounting
Knowledge of Great Plains and Business Central software is an asset
Mastery of the Dayforce system is a plus
Thoroughness, attention to detail, autonomy and adaptability
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good team spirit and interpersonal skills
Ability to evolve in a changing environment, particularly in a project context
Openness to change and ability to adjust to new processes
Intermediate to advanced mastery of Excel (DCTs, filters, search formulas)
