POSITION: Payroll Specialist
TYPE: 6-month contract with possibility of extension/permanence
LOCATION: Great location in downtown Montreal
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week (with 1 day of telework)
START DATE: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
Manage the entire payroll cycle
Ensure payroll compliance with Canadian laws and regulations
Manage payroll deductions and government remittances
Produce payroll reports and tax returns
Answer employee questions regarding payroll
Maintain up-to-date payroll records
Participate in improving payroll processes
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience with the complete Canadian payroll cycle
Experience working with a large payroll volume (minimum 400 employees)
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (a major asset)
Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
