Responsibilities
- Execute semi-monthly payroll for salaried/hourly employees across ON, QC, and Atlantic Canada using Ceridian Dayforce.
- Manage statutory remittances, year-end filings (T4s, RL-1s, ROEs), and payroll journal entries in Oracle NetSuite.
- Administer enrollments, terminations, and renewals; act as the liaison for providers and employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate digital files, draft employment letters, and support audit/privacy compliance.
- Act as a backup for the Finance and Accounting department as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years in Canadian payroll and benefits administration
- Proficiency in Dayforce (required) and NetSuite (strong asset).
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws in Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.
- Conversational French is required (Bilingualism is a major plus).
- High sense of urgency, tech-savvy, and a proactive approach to system upgrades.
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) is highly preferred.
