Responsibilities
Accurately input and process bi-weekly and monthly managed payroll for approximately 200+ firm members.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of annual bonus payments and other ad hoc payroll transactions.
Complete and ensure the accuracy of year-end reports and remittances, including T4s, and assist with audits as required.
Reconcile payroll outputs and contributions.
Issue annual T2200 forms to applicable employees when required.
Administer all group benefit plans, managing enrollments, terminations, and changes in a timely manner.
Review and validate group benefits invoices for accuracy and authorize payments.
Develop clear processes for onboarding, leaves, and departures.
Qualifications
4+ years experience overseeing and processing payroll is required. Experience using Ceridian PowerPay is a strong asset.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification
Experience working in a law firm or other professional services environment will be considered an asset.
