Responsibilities
Run Payroll: Process all employee payrolls, including special payments (bonuses, raises, retroactive pay, and final termination checks).
Manage Deductions & Compliance: Calculate, validate, and remit all required deductions, taxes, and third-party payments (like alimony or seizures).
Customer Service: Answer questions from employees and managers about their pay, solve pay-related problems, and resolve bank issues (rejections, overpayments).
Administration: Issue Records of Employment (ROEs), produce financial reports, and ensure all payroll data is accurate and secure.
Improve Processes: Actively work to make payroll processes more efficient and documented.
Qualifications
ACP/PCP Course required
1-3 years of relevant experience
Bilingual (An asset)
Experience working with SAP/ADP WFN or other systems (an asset)
