Job Title: Payroll Technician
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent
Salary: 60k - 75k

Responsibilities
- Enter and validate employee data (new hires, departures, status changes, benefits).
- Calculate and process governmental remittances (Source Deductions, CSST/CNESST, etc.) and ensure compliance with tax and legal standards.
- Prepare year-end documents (production of T4, Relevé 1 slips, and other tax documents).
- Perform payroll reconciliations and prepare related journal entries.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and taxes.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting departments.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- AEC, DEC in Accounting/Payroll, or PCP certification (a major asset).
- Proficiency with a recognized payroll system (e.g., Nethris, Desjardins, ADP, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Quebec and Canadian labor laws and tax regulations.
- Rigor, discretion, strong organizational skills, and bilingualism (French/English).
