Responsibilities
Phamacist - Full-Time, 12 month Direct-Hire Contract - Mississauga - Healthcare
Direct and coordinate the daily supervision of pharmacy staff to ensure operational excellence.
Review prescriptions for clinical accuracy and consult with other healthcare disciplines as needed.
Perform intricate calculations for specialized medication formulations.
Ensure all pharmacy practices remain compliant with current provincial and federal legislation.
Provide expert patient counseling and maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical care.
Utilize pharmacy computer systems to maximize productivity and streamline the dispensing process.
Research and apply drug therapy data regarding medication compatibility and interactions.
Monitor and adhere to all corporate patient safety policies and quality improvement programs.
