We are looking for a detail oriented Pharmacy Assistant / Clerk to support our client's pharmacy team during a peak period. Pharmacy is located in Markham. Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - Temporary Assignment up to 3 Months - Markham, ON - Healthcare
Organize and file pharmacy paperwork.
Coordinate and arrange courier shipments for timely medication delivery.
Support some processing of account payments and managing accounts receivable statements.
Support the pharmacy team with prescription processing and the preparation of worksheets.
Support triage of incoming phone calls and provide professional communication to partners.
Manage drug and supply inventory by purchasing, receiving, and checking expiration dates.
Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Pick and package medication orders for shipment.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy space.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Assistant - Temporary Assignment up to 3 Months - Markham, ON - Healthcare
System Knowledge: You must have previous experience using Kroll.
Experience: Experience working in a busy pharmacy setting as a Pharmacy Assistant is required
Tech-Savvy: You must be comfortable with computers including Kroll and can expect to need to learn new processes within 1-2 weeks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Reliability to work 8 hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (Monday to Friday) with occasional weekend support.
