Responsibilities
Pharmacy Clerk/Assistant (NOC 33103) - Monday-to-Thursday - Part Time 10am - 3pm - London Area - Temporary Assignment - Healthcare

Pack medications, seal packages, and prepare customer orders accurately for pickup or delivery

Handle general inventory movement around the dispensary, including totes of medication from wholesalers (up to approximately 25 lbs)

Assist the Pharmacist with counting oral solid medications, donning appropriate PPE (such as gloves) when handling cytotoxic products (all are marked and training/PPE provided)

Potential need to perform basic, straightforward data entry tasks, including logging Drug Identification Numbers (DINs) and tracking lot numbers and expiry dates (Kroll)

Unpack incoming wholesaler orders, verify contents against packing slips, and restock dispensary shelves

Maintain clean, organized workstations, counters, and preparation areas in compliance with standard operating procedures



Qualifications

Previous experience in a pharmacy as an assistant or clerk is required (IPG talent are encouraged to apply)

Comfortable performing light to moderate lifting (moving items between 5 and 25 lbs regularly)

Basic computer literacy for logging expiry dates and product DINs

Attention to detail, and focus on medication safety

Reliable transportation to commute to the Arva area for scheduled shifts

Availability to start on Monday, November 9 and work Monday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Must be legally eligible to work up to full-time hours in Canada and comfortable completing a criminal record check (CRC) if selected for the assignment; reference is required (supervisory) if selected.
