We’re seeking a driven, safety-minded apprentice to join our advanced fabrication team in Nisku. In this role, you’ll be involved in building complex jacketed piping assemblies and other high-spec industrial systems. Your success will depend on strong hands-on mechanical ability, consistent attention to safety, and a commitment to delivering exceptional-quality work. Those who excel will find opportunities for development, responsibility, and long-term career growth.

Great Compensation & Room to Advance
Strong Hourly Wage: Start at $28.00/hour, recognizing the skill level and practical experience you bring as a 3rd-Year Apprentice.

Take the lead in assembling intricate, double-layer jacketed piping systems, ensuring every section aligns precisely with P&IDs and General Arrangement drawings.
Precision Fabrication & Custom Workpieces
Perform high-detail fabrication tasks — including cutting, threading, adjustments, and component modification — while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and adherence to tight specifications.
Connection Integrity & Pressure Verification
Serve as the go-to resource for final flange fit-up and for conducting hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests, confirming each joint meets rigorous safety, reliability, and performance expectations.
Skid & Modular System Build-Out
Support the assembly of modular units and skids by installing valves, supports, and structural components, ensuring correct alignment, secure installation, and full mechanical continuity throughout the system.
Qualifications
This role is intended for a fully qualified 3rd-Year Pipefitter Apprentice with established technical capabilities. It is not suited for individuals seeking entry-level training. Please apply only if you confidently meet the qualifications outlined below:
Required Certification
You must be a registered 3rd-Year Pipefitter Apprentice with a valid apprenticeship ticket.

Component & Gasket Knowledge
Strong understanding of Victaulic system components — including correct gasket selection, placement, and sealing methods.
Dimensional Accuracy
Capable of selecting appropriate studs, bolts, and gasket sizes for various flange ratings quickly and accurately.
Torque Application Skill
Demonstrated experience applying precise torque values to meet engineering specifications and achieve leak-free, first-pass assembly.
