Responsibilities
Main responsibilities of the electro-mechanic/plastic mould repair technician in Ville Saint-Laurent :
Inspection and checking of moulds: Examine the general condition of moulds before and after production, including the heating element, and the quality and proper functioning of all components.
Repairing and finishing: Welding components if necessary and polishing mould surfaces and cavities as required.
Assembly: Assemble the moulds.
Preventive maintenance and cleaning: Carry out preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, alignment of castors and locating pins) and clean repair tools and equipment.
Documentation and communication: Completing the work plans provided by the supervisor and reporting any anomalies or faults.
Qualifications
Profile of the ideal mould repairer, working in Ville Saint-Laurent in a company specialising in plastic packaging :
-ASP in mould making
-Diploma in electromechanics (DEP) (asset)
- Tool box
- Good physical condition
- Able to handle heavy objects and difficult standing positions
