Position: Print and Mail Operator-Junior
Salary : $17.90
Start Date: Starts soon - 2 weeks from offer date
Work Style: Fully in Office
Location- London, Ontario
Shift work is required (every two weeks): Day shift: 6 am - 2 pm - Evening shift: 2 pm - 10 pm (Overtime is often required at quarter-end)
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities
Production Responsibilities
• Operation of high speed digital printers
• Operation of high speed mail insertion equipment.
• Perform bindery and finishing (cutting, folding, etc.)
• Work to meet all negotiated service levels
• Follow established procedures for the completion of work
Technical responsibilities
• Accountable for Quality Control checks on all work produced on the print management systems to ensure quality standards are met and products delivered meet customer expectations.
• Log issues in Remedy incident system
• Perform general maintenance on all equipment and resolve machine problems over phone if possible by speaking with vendor’s technical staff
Customer service
• Answer customer enquiries
• Monitor email box for customer orders
Administrative
• Audit production as per customers’ requirements for reporting
• Order stock and supplies
• Keep accurate counts of work processed.
Qualifications
- Position is dependent on reliability for security clearance
- Education/skills acquired through completion of high school or equivalent
- More than one year and up to and including two years’ experience on current and related jobs
- Excellent communication skills, Verbal, Written
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage individual and team workloads, multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, & Access) along with working knowledge of REMEDY for incident reporting and escalation.
- Knowledge and ability to work within mainframe and network applications associated with print operations.
- Possess basic team building skills.
- Possess basic analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure
