Responsibilities
Process Discovery: Lead recording sessions and interviews with SMEs to capture end-to-end business workflows.
Technical Writing: Translate raw observations and screen recordings into high-quality, step-by-step procedure manuals.
Standardization: Apply consistent formatting, visual hierarchies, and screenshots to ensure all documentation meets brand and quality standards.
Audit & Review: Evaluate existing procedures for outdated information, identify procedural gaps, and coordinate necessary updates with process owners.
Content Management: Maintain version control, manage change logs, and publish finalized documents to SharePoint repositories.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or a similar analytical role.
Writing Excellence: Exceptional command of English grammar and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word (templates/styles), Excel, and SharePoint.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to "ask the right questions" to uncover hidden steps or exceptions in a workflow.
Education: Post-secondary degree required; a focus on Business Communications or Technical Writing is a plus.
