Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from initiation and planning to execution and final close-out.
Design custom packaged compressed air units using SolidWorks and create system layout drawings and P&IDs.
Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and sales team to review client requirements, technical specifications, and RFQs.
Prepare accurate and detailed technical quotations, cost estimates, bid documents, and project proposals.
Serve as the key technical point of contact for clients, communicating complex information and managing stakeholder expectations.
Provide technical sign-off on drawings and ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
Conduct site visits with the sales team to assess customer needs and ensure seamless product integration.
Mentor and guide an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), fostering their professional development.
Coordinate activities between internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide ongoing technical support to the sales team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Must hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
A minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Proven experience in project management; a PMP designation is considered a strong asset.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in compressed air systems or rotating equipment.
Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Skilled in using MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
Excellent ability to troubleshoot systems, interpret technical data, and prepare detailed proposals.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
