Responsibilities
• Development and presentation of sourcing strategy recommendations as part of advisory service to clients based on their business requirements and industry analysis.
• Definition and solution of problems/issues in a creative or innovative way when clients' needs / requests / projects are presented in a general or ambiguous manner.
• Development, negotiation, execution and implementation of complex sourcing initiatives (including developing requests for proposals and other selection and supplier evaluation tools), while ensuring that company risks are mitigated, and regulatory requirements & company policies are adhered to.
• Participate in the enhancement or recommendation of changes to the operating practices and processes within Sourcing to improve requirements planning, procurement and supplier management processes.
• Execution and implementation of complex sourcing initiatives within the relevant expenditure categories.
• Successful development of agreement content in partnership with a legal resource.
• Leadership in negotiation strategy alignment and contract negotiations, as well as securing of authorizations for agreement execution.
• Discussion and negotiation of complex issues and requirements with senior management.
• Working with Supplier Relationship Manager and Business Lead to ensure company’s supplier management framework is implemented for high risk or high spend supplier under the scope of responsibility.
Qualifications
Must Have Requirement:
- 7-10 years procurement experience managing moderate and complex sourcing initiatives.
- ~5 years’ experience enterprise real estate services and contracts.
- Contract negotiation experience.
Nice to Have:
- PMAC certification or equivalent.
- Working experience with other major FIs.
- Experience in construction management, facilities management, managing vendors.
- Prior experience partnering on enterprise-wide or multi-line of business initiatives.
