Our client, a leader in the produce industry, is looking for an Inside Sales /produce sales person to join their team. You will be the bridge between high-quality growers and local independent shops, ensuring that fresh food gets to families across the region.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of the warehouse and the primary contact for customers. You will:
Manage Client Relationships: Provide top-tier service to wholesalers, retailers, and local independent shops.
Own the Inventory: Walk the warehouse daily to know exactly what’s in stock and identify which items need to move fast to ensure freshness.
Drive Sales: Maximize profits on inventory and handle walk-in customer traffic with a friendly, professional approach.
Problem Solve: Handle quality concerns, pricing questions, and "short market" procurement to ensure 100% service levels even when supply is tight.
Qualifications
Produce Expert: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically within the produce industry.
Strong Communicator: You can talk to anyone, handle pressure with a smile, and work effectively with diverse ethnic groups and local business owners.
Negotiation Pro: You know how to find the win-win for both the client and the company.
Multitasker: You can handle a Monday morning rush where an independent shop needs an order ready in 2 hours.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with MS Office (Word/Excel) and learning new ERP systems.
Dedicated: You are disciplined and available for occasional after-hours crisis management if a delivery or quality issue arises
