Product and Logistics Coordinator

As a Product Control & Logistics Associate within our client's manufacturing & logistics operations, you will serve as a central coordinator ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely flow of advanced automation products from global supply chains to end customers. Working five days per week on-site in a structured 40-hour schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch), you will gain hands-on exposure across product control and logistics operations. From communicating with customs brokers and managing warehouse inventory levels to auditing shipping records and coordinating customer returns, your work will directly impact operational success across Canada.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily manufacturing & logistics operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate regularly with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth import and export clearance for international shipments.
• Assist warehouse teams with inventory receiving, put-away, stock transfers, cycle counts, and physical audits to maintain precise stock records.
• Generate, maintain, and audit detailed inventory and shipping reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying discrepancies and taking swift corrective action.
• Track domestic and international shipments, obtain proof of delivery (POD) confirmations, and update sales representatives on shipment status or transit delays.
• Support return and repair processes by preparing international customs documentation, coordinating product transfers, and maintaining loaner equipment tracking.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, customer support, and warehouse operations to address special shipping requests and logistical inquiries.
• Identify process bottlenecks and present proactive solutions to the Product Control Manager to continuously optimize manufacturing & logistics workflows.
• Maintain orderly, compliant, and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all customs, shipping, inventory, and regulatory documents.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required (degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing & logistics, warehouse administration, customer service, or supply chain support is an asset.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (bilingual English/French fluency is a strong asset).
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work 5 days per week on-site in Mississauga, Ontario (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including data reporting, formulas, and spreadsheet management.
• Sound understanding of basic manufacturing & logistics principles, warehouse administration, inventory management, and import/export documentation.
• Exceptional organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail when working with numbers, shipping codes, and technical documentation.
• High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to prioritize tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work productively across multi-disciplinary operational teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to streamlining workflow processes.
