In this critical technical support and data analysis role, you will act as the primary guardian of the digital product catalog, bridging the gap between back-end system configurations and front-end customer experiences. You will provide Tier-1 technical support for internal business associates, triaging tickets, troubleshooting data visibility issues, and executing root-cause diagnostics. Leveraging advanced Excel formulas and SQL database querying, you will analyze ticket trends, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, and train internal teams to ensure catalog data accuracy, scalability, and integrity across a massive digital retail ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Tier-1 Technical Support & Triage: Act as the first point of contact for internal business associates, diagnosing root causes, replicating technical issues, and resolving product data visibility gaps.
L2 Collaboration & Escalation: Partner closely with Level-2 engineering teams to escalate complex technical bugs, prioritize system fixes, and track resolution lifecycles.
Data Querying & Analysis: Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and audit product data directly from back-end databases, using advanced Excel functions to organize and analyze system metrics.
UAT & Quality Governance: Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new platform features and enhancements, ensuring system updates solve core business user pain points.
Process Improvement & Reporting: Compile support metrics to identify recurring data issues, presenting proactive action plans to streamline ongoing catalog management.
User Training & Empowerment: Lead 1:1 coaching and group workshops to educate internal associates on item setup best practices and data quality standards.
Qualifications
Advanced Excel Proficiency: 2+ years of hands-on mastery in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Macros, complex IF statements, Pivot Tables, and data hygiene.
SQL Querying Skills: 1 to 3 years of practical experience writing SQL queries to extract, filter, and validate relational database records.
PIM & Catalog Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms or large-scale retail/e-commerce catalog data structures.
UAT & Testing Experience: Practical background conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and providing feedback on system configurations.
Troubleshooting & Analytical Thinking: Proven capability to dissect technical workflows, trace data inputs, and identify root causes behind system discrepancies.
Communication & Support: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear instructions for non-technical business users.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Experience using enterprise service desk and workflow tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
Background in large-scale omnichannel retail, e-commerce merchandising, or supply chain data operations.
