In this high-profile consulting role, you will drive a strategic initiative focused on modernizing how global merchandising and store strategy teams visualize and build product assortments. Operating at the intersection of retail planning, complex data architectures, and visual software tooling, you will help create visual "building blocks" for store-level recommendations by connecting disparate data systems and business workflows. Acting as the critical bridge between technical engineering squads and senior business stakeholders, you will define product requirements during early-stage discovery, translate complex planning system outputs (such as Anaplan) into business-friendly visual capabilities, and align cross-functional teams around a unified product vision.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (First phase of a 2+ year multi-phase enterprise initiative)
Location & Work Arrangement: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid: 3–4 days per week on-site at the Burrard office)

Systems & Data Integration: Connect disparate concepts and data structures across multiple enterprise platforms, acting as the translator between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
Global Stakeholder Alignment: Drive cross-functional consensus across global merchandising and store strategy teams during early-stage discovery, solutioning, and pilot planning.
Executive Communication & Governance: Deliver clear, compelling presentations and facilitate structured feedback sessions with senior business partners and executive leaders.
Qualifications
Retail Domain Background: Deep familiarity with retail merchandising, product creation, apparel/footwear development, or retail planning processes.
Systems & Data Literacy: Proven ability to understand data flows across complex enterprise systems and articulate how business teams utilize data to technical engineering squads.
Product Management Experience: Demonstrated track record in product discovery, requirements gathering, workflow mapping, and feature definition within a modern software delivery framework.
Executive Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills; expert ability to tailor complex technical messages for diverse business audiences.
