Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
Manage the full product lifecycle and establish a strong brand experience in the Canadian marketplace.
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and e-commerce teams to create effective marketing tools, catalogs, brochures, and promotional programs.
Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, including studies on features, price points, and market advantages, to inform product development.
Develop and deliver compelling product presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry experts.
Liaise with government agencies and industry associations to stay informed about rebates, efficiency standards, and governmental programs.
Work with supply chain teams to facilitate the inventory pipeline and ensure optimal stock levels.
Provide continuous feedback on market activity and customer needs to influence future product evolution and refinement.
Support regional sales teams in developing tactical sales strategies for the dealer network.
Qualifications
Excellent technical knowledge of ductless HVAC product lines and their applications in the Canadian market.
Proven ability to develop and execute high-level product and sales strategies.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with new product development processes, from ideation and concept testing to launch planning.
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and build strong professional relationships.
Autonomous, with a strong sense of urgency and a customer-centric mindset.
Full professional proficiency in both English and French (written and oral) is mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant product management experience within the HVAC industry; 10+ years is strongly preferred.
Specialized post-secondary studies in HVAC, Controls, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated mastery of the Canadian Ductless market, including products, applications, and industry standards.
Ability to work from a designated company office or branch one day per week.
Must be able to travel within Canada and to the U.S. as required for trade shows and conferences.
Flexibility to attend bi-weekly evening meetings (approx. 9 PM EST) to collaborate with international partners.
Must be comfortable and experienced in delivering presentations to large audiences, both in-person and online.
