Responsibilities
- Consistently lift, carry, stack, and maneuver boxes weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the entirety of an 8-hour or 12-hour shift.
- Load raw materials onto conveyors and feeding mechanisms, and safely remove finished products from the production lines.
- Operate and monitor automated or semi-automated manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient product processing and packaging.
- Safely clear minor machinery jams using lock-out tag-out protocols, and promptly report larger mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Strictly follow all occupational health and safety guidelines, including the mandatory wear of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct visual inspections of finished products and packaging to guarantee they meet strict facility standards.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and hazard-free by sweeping debris and wiping down machinery.
- Adapt smoothly to shifting production schedules, adjust machinery guides as needed, and participate in seamless shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs consistently.
- Reliable transportation to the work site for night shifts.
