Responsibilities
- Line Feeding & Material Handling: Manually load heavy vinyl planks and siding panels into automated processing and spraying equipment at a continuous, steady tempo.
- Heavy Manual Assembly: Utilize heavy-duty manual clamping fixtures to accurately align, fit, and lock plastic and vinyl siding components.
- Offloading & Quality Assurance: Offload heavy completed panels from the fast-moving conveyor, run visual quality checks, and pack products securely into shipping boxes.
- Workplace Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation while following strict health and safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain clear, active verbal communication with your 2 line partners to keep the line moving without bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Physical Capability: High physical stamina, quick hand-eye coordination, and comfortable handling repetitive heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Manufacturing Experience: Background in heavy production line work, material handling, machine operating, or industrial packaging is a strong asset.
- Communication: Functional English skills to ensure workplace safety and team coordination (bilingual English/French is a bonus).
- Safety Equipment: CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots required from day one.
- Reliability: Proven track record of strong attendance and reliable personal transportation to arrive in Paris, ON.
