In this vital Production Operator role within the manufacturing & logistics industry, you will be stationed at the very end of the production line—a critical stage where finished goods are inspected, offboarded, packaged, and readied for distribution. Operating within a heavy manufacturing environment, your daily contributions will directly impact final product quality, packaging integrity, and shipping efficiency. Your responsibilities at the end of the line will include offbearing heavy finished products from conveyor belts, stacking and palletizing goods, operating banding and wrapping equipment, and conducting final visual quality control checks before items move into the warehouse. We are looking for resilient individuals who are comfortable with the physical demands of heavy industry, specifically the proven ability to consistently lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing over 50 lbs throughout the shift.
We understand that flexibility is crucial for our workforce in manufacturing & logistics. To accommodate different lifestyle needs and schedules, this position offers multiple shift options: you can choose to work a straight day shift, a straight night shift, or a continuous continental shift schedule. With a competitive starting wage of $20.92 per hour, this role provides solid financial stability and the chance to gain valuable expertise in end-of-line industrial automation and material handling. Safety is our absolute priority; all team members must rigorously adhere to established industrial safety standards, practice proper lifting ergonomics, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a secure, hazard-free working environment for everyone on the floor.
While this Production Operator position is based in Paris, Ontario, clear communication in English is essential for maintaining workplace safety protocols, reading technical packaging instructions, and coordinating effectively with your team members and material handlers. In the Canadian manufacturing & logistics sector, multilingualism—particularly bilingualism in English and French—is always considered a valuable asset that can help foster collaboration across diverse teams, though proficiency in English is the primary requirement for safely executing daily operations on the plant floor.
Randstad Operational: Secure a job that complements your skills, supports work-life balance, and powers your goals. Get access to a range of job opportunities through permanent, temp, or contract roles with the best employers, plus ongoing training from a trusted partner who cares about your working life and well-being.
