Responsibilities
Safety & Operations:
Adhere strictly to all safety policies, programs, and procedures while operating manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions.
Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished products against quality specifications, conducting checks at regular intervals.
Material Handling: Safely operate a counterbalance, propane-powered forklift.
Data & Maintenance: Enter waste and downtime data into the system, and perform general housekeeping duties as required.
Flexibility: Execute additional duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of proven forklift operating experience is preferred.
Strong manual dexterity, high attention to detail, and the ability to closely follow directions and specific instructions. is essential.
Ability to comfortably stand and/or walk for 90% of the shift and for extended periods of time.
Ability to routinely lift and move up to 70 pounds.
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required for this role.
Must be comfortable working in warm and cold environments.
