Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Planner plans production based on orders, established delivery deadlines, and stock levels to ensure the maintenance of a three-month inventory of finished products.

Responsibilities
Analyze sales and production requirements and handle data accordingly.
Establish and update sales forecasts by product based on sales history and other sales and customer information.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and work orders.
Maintain the current stock report on a daily basis and provide daily updates.
Communicate any developments or changes in the production schedule with the production department and customer service due to supply issues.
Use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to plan the necessary materials based on demand and liaise with procurement to issue purchase orders.
Monitor purchases to ensure that purchase orders are placed on time and that materials will be received on time to meet production needs.
Strictly monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand, optimize warehouse space usage, and manage expired inventory.
Qualifications
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ambitious, self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
Persistent and results-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal skills; relationship builder with an outgoing personality.
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
University or college degree.
2 years of relevant experience (in an FMCG manufacturing company).
Knowledge of inventory management systems.
Bilingual - English and French.
