Your Role
As Production Supervisor, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.
Your scope includes:
- Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support third-shift production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, waste, and cost performance targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and enhance operational performance.
- Monitor production metrics and operating parameters, develop action plans to address performance gaps, and ensure timely follow-through on corrective actions.
- Provide coaching, training, and daily direction to employees while fostering engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, ensuring reliable operations and consistent product quality.
- Conduct routine floor presence and operational audits to identify opportunities for process improvements and sustain best practices.
- Ensure accurate shift documentation, production reporting, and communication during shift turnovers.
- Manage employee performance through regular feedback, recognition, coaching, and development planning.
- Support workforce scheduling, staffing needs, and timekeeping activities to ensure operational continuity.
What You Bring
You're a natural fit for Production Supervisor if you have:
- High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Business Administration. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Willing to work 11:00PM - 7:00AM Monday – Friday.
- 2+ years’ experience in leadership and lean continuous improvement processes in a manufacturing environment. Packaging manufacturing experience preferred.
- Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills to include MS365 and SAP or ERP software.
