Responsibilities
* partner with operations and project leadership to analyze budget vs actuals, monitor committed costs, track margin variances and improve forecast accuracy
* oversee complete project accounting from initial job setup, cost-code assignment, and progress billing to holdbacks/retainage, WIP analysis, and final closeout
* manage vendors/subcontractor AP, including line item validation, PO matching, coding, and payment scheduling to optimize working capital
* prepare period end journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and executive management packages
* develop custom dashboards and KPI's while strengthening internal controls, reporting workflows and ERP integration
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finace
* CPA designation preferred (or active CPA candidate)
* 3-5 yrs of dedicated project accounting experience within construction or infrastructure environments
* advanced proficiency in job costing, multi-site program accounting
* Procore system is a strong assert
* Exceptional analytical, problem solving, cross functional communication skills and a strong eye for detail
