Project Administrator - Part Time

Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and implementation of new project initiatives for the client's team.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they align with the client's organizational objectives and are completed on time.
• Contribute to project planning, including defining scope and setting timelines.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for cost savings.
• Analyze process data and propose actionable improvements to stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support for smooth project execution and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate project changes effectively to all stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings, including brainstorming sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Specialist, with expertise in project planning, analysis, and decision-making.
• 2+ years of experience in an operational or customer service environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Asana.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to balance autonomy with collaborative efforts and prioritize multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability when facing ambiguity.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Summary
We are seeking a Project Specialist on behalf of our client, a leader in sustainable outdoor apparel. As a key member of their Product Operations team, this role will play an essential part in the development and implementation of their global product sustainability program. The Product Operations team is a core pillar of their sustainability vision, which aims to extend the life of products and reduce waste. You will be instrumental in helping them achieve their sustainability goals by developing scalable processes and contributing to the strategic decisions that shape their operations. This is a contract position based out of their North Vancouver office, and is part-time in nature.
