Responsibilities
•Project Financial Governance: Manage and reconcile project financials, including GL reconciliation, accruals, chargebacks, invoice tracing, LE & actual updates, and variance analysis with commentary.
•Resource Governance & Tool Support: Oversee resource allocation governance, assist with onboarding users to the proprietary Eclipse tool, and provide first-line technical support.
•Reporting & Executive Summaries: Prepare financial, status, and resourcing reports for leadership and executive steering committees; synthesize complex data to tell an impactful story.
•Lifecycle & Operational Support: Maintain financial forecasts, monitor governance activities, track progress, and escalate risks, issues, and action items across all project phases.
•Month-End Priority: Support critical month-end operational activities and ensure strict adherence to reporting timelines.
Qualifications
•Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Project Control Officer (PCO), Senior IT Project Coordinator, or similar role in an enterprise environment.
•Financial Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing program/project financials, including GL reconciliation and executive financial reporting.
•Technical & Data Skills: Strong ability to pull, manipulate, analyze, and present data using tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and SharePoint.
•Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to synthesize data for high-level executive storytelling.
•Asset/Nice-to-Haves: Prior experience with Banks, familiarity with GL reconciliation, hands-on experience with Eclipse, Jira, Power BI, or Alteryx.
