Responsibilities
• Plan and align signals throughout the supply chain based on S&OP for the entire project portfolio.
• Understand interdependencies within the manufacturing environment as well as those with other groups.
• Identify/optimize critical project paths to ensure adherence to the overall production plan while respecting costs and schedule.
• Ensure adherence to the master plan to maintain appropriate status reporting for all projects from initial order to delivery to the end customer.
• Collaborate with material design managers, operational project managers, production planners, production cell managers, union leaders and supply chain purchasing partners using a proactive, data-driven approach to develop and implement solutions.
• Drive engineering changes and collaborate to mitigate project impact.
• Take leadership with production/assembly cell leaders and union leaders to synchronize/optimize the flow of information and the flow of materials.
• Be aligned with production cell leads to identify/understand scalable capacity and bottlenecks to plan execution accordingly.
• Be a reference for the operations team (SME) for planning tools, processes and techniques
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or administration.
• At least three to five years of experience or relevant training in the field.
• Good analytical skills.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, colleagues and internal clients.
• Be able to answer questions and present information to the various stakeholders in the process (Group Leader, Production Cell Leader, Project Manager, Planners, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with an integrated management system, preferably Oracle.
• Ability to properly perform their duties in a fast-paced environment, to carry out several tasks at the same time and to meet imposed deadlines independently.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to understand different assembly sequences and identify critical paths.
• Ability to generate reports with databases using SQL, VBA, Power Query Language M, Power BI, not required but definitely a plus.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
