Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end project management, from planning through to successful delivery of expected outcomes.
Assess and forecast resource and budget requirements, including specialized expertise.
Build and coordinate delivery teams to ensure objectives are met.
Organize and facilitate planning, tracking, and feedback sessions, adapting methods to diverse delivery contexts.
Ensure compliance with IT Portfolio Office (aPMO) standards and promote practices recommended by the Centers of Excellence (CoE).
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers affecting delivery timelines or quality.
Communicate project status transparently and on a regular basis to all stakeholders.
Work closely with managers, internal partners, Scrum Masters, performance analysts, and IT portfolio leads.
Demonstrate strong, motivating leadership to unite teams around a shared vision and common goals.
Qualifications
Proven leadership with strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
Outstanding analytical and critical thinking abilities focused on solution finding and continuous improvement.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT project management.
Proficiency in at least one project planning and tracking tool.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Professional certifications such as PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or above), SAFe® RTE, or PMP (considered an asset).
