Project Manager

You will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet the emerging needs of business lines and the market. The IT Project Manager will encourage hybrid and agile project management methodologies. As an IT Project Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate your ability to leverage changes in technology (digitalization, technological innovation) and development methodologies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use IT project management methods, templates, tools, policies, guidelines, and processes;

• Manage all aspects of projects (business benefits, process change, IT delivery, change management, data migration);

• Plan, organize, report on, and track activities related to standard IT project deliverables;

• Complete work within the approved project scope, budget, and schedule;

• Ensure that deliverables meet the required quality level;

• Manage project-related risks and issues;

• Maintain a professional relationship with stakeholders and cooperate with other project managers and business line managers;

• Regularly communicate project progress and activities to stakeholders;

• Regularly report on plans, forecasts, results, and deviations;

• Manage the team, forecast resource needs, and distribute tasks within the project team;

• Lead, participate in, or plan change management activities;

• If required, take on business analyst tasks (managing requirements, defining solutions, facilitating workshops, etc.); and
• Continuously work to improve existing work methods.

WHAT YOU NEED:
• Bachelor's degree in project management, information systems, business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training.

• Experience in the full lifecycle of at least 3 projects as a project manager
• Experience managing matrix resources
• Strong knowledge of information technology

• Experience implementing Microsoft D365 F&O technologies is an asset
• Experience managing projects using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Experience in change management; PROSCI certification will be considered an asset
• Experience deploying new methodologies, providing training and support in a professional and technical environment is an asset
• Experience in the automotive sector or a similar manufacturing company is an asset
• Expertise and in-depth knowledge of project management
• Influential leadership and ownership in a multidisciplinary and matrix context
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all hierarchical levels
• Excellent teamwork skills
