Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from definition/scope through implementation.
• Develop project plans and drive milestones.
• Employ project management methodologies and tools like MS Project
• Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders.
• Ensure effective change management throughout the project.
• Manage communication plans, training, and documentation.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Communicate project status to all stakeholders regularly.
Qualifications
Must have Skills:
1) 5+ years of prior experience in project management is required. Project Manager will be responsible for leading the effort to complete the technical deliverables through the full project delivery cycle for an HR system/application for our HR business partners.
2) Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.
3) Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
4) PMP and CSM designations.
5) Experience delivering SaaS tools.
6) Prior experience working on HR projects
7) Experience working with geographically dispersed teams; experience with API integrations; experience as an IT PM managing all technical deliverables is a must
8) Sound knowledge of MS Office Tools and Agile tools, ex. JIRA
Soft Skills:
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Effective project planning, judgment, and decision-making.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans
• Experience working in matrix organizations and with geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle uncertainty.
• Prior experience of working in matrix organizations and multiple vendor resources is required.
• Monitors and manages project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule – manages variances
• Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables; creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget
Nice to have Skills:
- Experience in the delivery of HR systems (Workday/ADP) would be ideal.
- Running HR projects from a technical perspective
Education:
• Bachelor's degree
• Certifications: PMP and CSM designations.
