Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
-Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including suppliers, production supervisors, order processing, sales, and customer service—to ensure timely availability of goods. Report and manage any delays that may impact production.
-Order Management: Process purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Ensure that deliveries meet quality and timing requirements.
-Supplier Sourcing: Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new suppliers, products, and services for cost and quality improvements.
-Inventory Oversight: Work with the receiving team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Monitor production floor inventory and maintain updated records.
-Data & Documentation: Keep procurement records current by updating vendor information, pricing, and purchase orders. Submit signed receiving and packing slips to accounting for processing.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-3–5 years of experience in procurement
-At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing; kitchen and bath industry experience is a plus
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-Effective negotiation skills
-Strong analytical and organizational abilities
