Responsibilities
Team Management: Coach, motivate, and develop the purchasing and procurement team.
Strategy: Actively participate in developing and implementing the procurement strategy to support the company's growth.
Supplier Management: Oversee the complete supplier management cycle (selection, evaluation, negotiation) in North American and Asian markets.
Optimization: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times, while managing supply chain risks (stock shortages, price increases).
Negotiation: Manage negotiations, master agreements, and pricing agreements to ensure optimal conditions.
Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with the engineering, production, quality, and logistics departments to ensure alignment of objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to continuously improve the department's processes and tools.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing and procurement management in a manufacturing sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in operations management, administration, logistics, or a related field.
Bilingualism: Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Solid experience with ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Asset: Knowledge of the Microsoft NAV ERP.
