      Our client in the London area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Project Engineer Coordinator to join their team! As a Project Engineer Coordinator, you would be responsible for the overall coordination, delivery and scheduling of the design and engineering division. This role is both hands-on and administrative, and the ideal candidate will need to be able to jump in and create detailed drawings and designs within SolidWorks, program CNC machines and maintain a good grasp of the overall workflow, timelines and delivery of engineering tasks, focused on client expectations, scheduling and scope. Specific responsibilities would include:•Coordinate design programming and scheduling for manufacturing and assembly•Coordinate and schedule the work of the design and engineering team, ensuring that the work is prioritized and completed on time and to company standard•Act as a key point of contact within the team to respond to emergent customer requests and concerns•CNC laser and brake programming •Create drawings and bill of materials for new and recurring programs •Own the ERP job set-up process and ensure that drawings are properly filed and managed •Prepare tooling/machine design models, drawings and bill of material•Evaluate component sizes, weights, tolerances and characteristics•Recommend improvements on designs and incorporate necessary changes into existing and new machinery•Organize all project documentation, such as drawings, specifications, reports, etc.•Assist with request for quotes (RFQ) documentsAs a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements: •Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role •Strong technical engineering and design expertise with the proven ability to perform CNC laser and brake programming and create designs and drawings via SolidWorks •Degree and/or diploma in mechanical engineering or technology •Proven experience coordinating teams and leading similar projects •Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks•Strong communication and organizational skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply today!
