Training is provided for the right candidates.Job Responsibilities Complete roll changes, including webbing up the machineCheck and fill lamination, tail tie and pick up gluesTroubleshoot mechanical issuesOperate hand tools, pallet jacks, and fire extinguishersFollow Standard Operating Procedures to complete product changeoversFollow production schedules and complete production goalsMaintaining a high standard of quality for finished products through quality checks and inspection of various machinesLoad boxes by hand to case packers when case packer is downMaintain equipment and keep work environment cleanAll other duties as assigned24/7 facility - will need to have availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Production operators work a rotating shift, four 12-hour shifts then four days off switching between days and nights Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work at a fast pace, stable under pressure and organized, while staying within safety rules and regulationsSafety centered mindsetAbility to be accountable and create a strong attendance recordMust have mechanical and technical aptitude with an ability to understand converting equipment design concepts and troubleshootMust have demonstrated track record of ownership and interest in the success of your current assignment.
