Responsibilities
-Examine documents, materials and products and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness,
accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications
-Conduct root cause analyses of non-conformance incidents; develop tracking systems for non-
conformance and implement corrective actions.
-Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials and quality control
measures.
-Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands
-Review work orders to determine material requirements and material priorities
-Collaborate with management, sales representatives and production when required on schedules due to
design changes, material shortages or other interruptions
-Read basic specs/drawings and check for scale
-Read a tape measure/caliper
-Quality control on parts that are coming off the machine as well as received
Qualifications
-3+ years inventory control experience
-Previous experience in a QC role
-Certificate in Quality Assurance or Quality Control an asset
-Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment
-Good time management skills
-Ability to work independantly
