Responsibilities
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios to support frequent and consistent feature delivery.
• Implement and manage automated test suites to enable rapid, continuous software delivery.
• Design and execute essential system, load, performance, and security tests.
• Support the adoption of quality practices on the team including code linting, test coverage, and BDD or TDD.
• Coordinate team contributions to automated test suites and maintain testing assets.
• Support initiatives for re-usable testing components, test databases, and the integration of AI tools.
• Define and collect automated metrics to generate quality reports and project artifacts.
Qualifications
• Minimum of four years of experience creating and modifying automation test scripts using established testing frameworks.
• Minimum of three years of experience preparing or supporting automation test plans and test cases.
• Minimum of three years of experience conducting load, performance, security, or end-to-end testing.
• Minimum of two years of experience developing new testing automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience using GitHub for version control.
• Candidates with previous Canadian provincial government experience in similar projects will be given preference.
