Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using cloud tools.
• Develop secure data architectures on cloud platforms to support both native and hybrid environments.
• Manage data lakes and structured storage solutions while ensuring proper access controls and governance.
• Integrate data from diverse source systems, including operational and geospatial platforms, using custom scripts and APIs.
• Create and maintain data models and semantic layers to support operational reporting and data science use cases.
• Optimize data workflows using Python and SQL for data cleansing, enrichment, and advanced cloud analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications
• Five years of experience using Python, PySpark, and SQL to develop and optimize enterprise-grade ETL or ELT workflows.
• Three years of experience building scalable data pipelines with cloud-based Databricks, Delta Lake, and related orchestration tools.
• Three years of experience designing analytics-ready datasets, semantic layers, and data products for reporting tools.
• Four years of experience utilizing Git or GitHub for version control, code management, and collaborative development.
• Three years of experience managing secure cloud storage, SQL databases, and service authentication methods.
