In this critical position, you will be instrumental in promoting a culture of Quality within the organization, providing essential leadership and guidance in Quality Assurance issues to Project Management, Engineering, Industry & Supply Chain, and Services teams.

Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your main respobsibilies will include:
Assuring that customer concerns are captured, understood, and efficiently handled by the Project team.
Cascading and managing all necessary Quality Assurance requirements.
Adjusting Quality Assurance activities with a risk-driven mindset, anticipating and mitigating risks.
Guiding the Project team in the definition and tailoring of the project baseline and validating the resulting plans.
Controlling project execution, evaluating achievements at key milestones, and providing "Quality Advice."
Performing compliance assessments with support for Contractual Quality Assurance requirements.
Writing and executing Project Quality Assurance and Software Quality Assurance Plans.
Coaching and training the Project team in applying processes, proactively identifying risks, and resolving problems.
Providing visibility to the management, alerting when necessary, and raising a veto in case of critical, non-compliant situations.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
3-5 years in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering System/Software development, or as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
Proven ability to provide support and guidance in Quality Assurance issues.
Experience in a related, regulated industry, Transportation, Aerospace, Medical Devices, etc
Strong understanding of risk-driven quality assurance principles.
Familiarity with developing and executing Project Quality Assurance and Software Quality Assurance Plans.
Ability to actively participate in and prepare quality assessments for Project Gates/milestone review meetings.
