Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as Quality Director will include:
Ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards under the supervision of senior management.
Leading audits and training programs related to animal welfare and biosecurity.
Supervising and mobilizing the team responsible for loading audits.
Collaborating with producers and transporters to optimize procurement logistics.
Managing health crises and ensuring the rigorous updating of regulatory protocols.
Analyzing performance data using advanced technological tools.
Validating non-compliance reports and implementing sustainable corrective measures.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, you must possess the following profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agronomy, or Food Science/Technology.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in team management.
5 years of proven expertise in the swine or poultry industry.
Professional certification in Animal Welfare Auditing (asset) and HACCP.
Proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
High level of autonomy and flexibility for frequent travel to plants across Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes.
Fully bilingual (French and English).
