We are currently hiring for a quality Inspector for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections of in-house products at various stages of production, ensuring they
meet company and customer quality standards.
• Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and non-conformance issues, and communicate
findings to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are
implemented.
• Verify that all products comply with customer specifications, and ensure proper labeling and
packaging.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and any corrective actions taken.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills to record inspection data, create reports, and track quality trends.
• Perform visual checks, color assessments, and basic garment testing such as seam strength or
component durability checks.
• Follow established quality control procedures, ensuring consistency in inspections and product
evaluations.
• Assist with training production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Qualifications
• Experience in quality inspection, preferably within the apparel industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects and quality issues quickly.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, with effective communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Knowledgeable about apparel production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
