Responsibilities
- Preparing: residential real estate files (purchases, sales, refinances and private mortgages), discharge statements, and power of sale documentation
- Ordering Title Insurance Policies and handling all other legal administrative tasks
- Interacting and communicating with clients, banks, broker offices, and others in a timely manner
- Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients, promptly following completion and organization of files
- Following up with internal team members and clients accordingly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 + years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk in a firm and/or title insurance environment
- Outgoing personality with strong negotiation skills and the ability to make difficult decisions with confidence
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate, collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with extreme attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent ability to prioritize tasks and highly organized
- Lawyer Done Deal, Teraview, and Microsoft Office experience is preferred
