Responsibilities
- Receive, direct, and relay telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Re-direct incoming callers and visitors to the appropriate staff member or department
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date visitor log-book
- Notify relevant staff of visitor arrivals and issue visitor passes in accordance with company procedures
- Provide general administrative and reception support to an assigned manager/supervisor and team as required
- Ensure reception area remains welcoming, organized, and aligned with standards
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to act with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling visitor records and call logs
- Strong understanding of reception best practices and procedures, with adherence to STO service standards
- Familiarity with the organizational structure and services
- Working knowledge of administrative and secretarial practices in an educational or office setting
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and email systems
