A globally recognized company in the technology sector is looking for a receptionist to join the team in Downtown Toronto.
You will serve as the company's ambassador, handling customer service and mail reception. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities
-Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
-Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
-Ensure all visitors into the office possess a badge i.e. employee, temporary or guest badge
-Notifies employees or contractors of visitor arrival.
-Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
-Corresponding via email using Microsoft Outlook.
-Provide special project and administrative support on an ad hoc basis.
-Effectively addressing and resolving client and customer concerns and/or complaints.
-Responsible for submitting cases through the company’s on-line case management system for all maintenance or janitorial issues regarding the lobby as well as following up as needed to ensure timely completion.
-Data entry & word processing using Microsoft Suite.
-Keeping statistical data on services provided.
-Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
-Processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Other duties and responsibilities include:
-Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
-Consistently adhering to business practice guidelines and policies
-Taking direction from supervisor or site manager
-Participating in cross-training
-Maintaining all logs and reporting documentation with attention to detail
-Adhering to all safety procedures
Qualifications
-At least 2 years of proven work experience in customer service, front office representative, or similar role.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Ability to effectively work individually or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
-Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
-Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
-Willingness to cross-training for other job functions.
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. or maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
-The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
