Responsibilities
As a Refrigeration Mechanic class 1, your main missions for building maintenance in Montréal will be:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems and rooftop units.
Accurately diagnose complex breakdowns in cold rooms and equipment using ammonia or gas.
Coordinate technical interventions with specialized suppliers to ensure facility performance.
Rigorously update technical logs and maintenance management software.
Interpret technical plans and diagrams while strictly adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
The refrigeration mechanic class 1 position requires the following skills:
-hold a valid refrigeration mechanic class one competency certificate for Quebec.
-possess a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
-master systems using modern refrigerants such as hydrocarbons.
-have a valid training or certificate in gas appliance techniques (an asset).
-demonstrate high autonomy, organizational skills, and an excellent team spirit.
-ability to communicate in french and english.
