Put your HVAC/R expertise to work in a new way. This role lets you apply your technical knowledge without the daily physical demands of rooftop or field-heavy work. You’ll guide and support technicians, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure projects are completed successfully.
What You’ll Do
...
- Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance via phone, email, Teams, and site visits.
- Support contractors with installations and system commissioning.
- Deliver practical solutions to keep jobs on track and customers satisfied.
- Occasionally step into the field—without the full-time physical strain.
- Based in Edmonton, this role includes reimbursed travel across Alberta and occasional support for our Calgary office.
📍 Location: Edmonton, AB (travel across Alberta required)
💵 Salary: $75,000–$95,000/year + Bonus
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday
📅 Position Type: Permanent Office-Based with Field Travel

Responsibilities
🔧 Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted resource for technicians and contractors seeking technical assistance
- Provide troubleshooting expertise on VRF/VRV systems, controls, electronics, and installation challenges
- Support commissioning and service activities both remotely and during site visits
- Deliver and facilitate technical training sessions through Microsoft Teams or in person
- Partner with the sales and engineering teams to address and resolve product concerns
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related tools
Qualifications
✅ What You’ll Bring to the Team
- A Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification (mandatory)
- 5+ years of hands-on HVAC field experience
- Solid knowledge of wiring, controls, and electronic systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others
- Background in training apprentices or coaching peers is a strong asset
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting tools
- A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle (all travel costs covered)
- Nice-to-have extras: VRF/VRV expertise, AutoCAD exposure, First Aid, Fall Protection, or Forklift certification
